From an early age, I was captivated by the night sky, finding wonder in the vastness of the universe. This curiosity led me to pursue a path where I could not only explore the cosmos but also share its beauty and mysteries with others. My journey has been fueled by a deep-seated empathy and a desire to connect with people from all walks of life. I began my career in the arts, working at museums where I fostered community connections through creative and educational programs. This experience taught me the importance of making information relatable and engaging, a principle I carry into my current work at the Space Telescope Science Institute (STScI). At STScI, I lead initiatives that merge space science with public education, crafting programs that are both informative and captivating. My academic background has been integral to my professional development. I'm currently enrolled in a Master of Education program where I focus on leadership in education policy and management. This program will equip me with the key skills to drive systemic change and influence global educational practices. Additionally, my Master of Arts specialized in integrating educational technology within museum settings, a discipline that combines my love for art and science. My undergraduate experience was rooted in the intersections of art history, cultural contexts, and religious studies. This interdisciplinary education has provided me with a holistic perspective, enabling me to approach problems creatively and think critically about solutions. Throughout my career, I have developed a unique blend of technical skills and soft skills that allow me to excel in my field. Outside of my professional endeavors, I enjoy reading, playing video games, and spending quality time with my husband and our two cats, Ponyo and Rosso.
